The Bill & Ted films showed us how Wyld Stallyns Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Ted “Theodore” Logan are set to change the destiny of this planet with the power of their music. The last of the two films, ‘Bogus’ released in 1991 and they have not yet completed their mission. However, now the success of John Wick 2 has paved the way for a Hollywood comeback for Keanu Reeves. Let’s have a look at what is in store for a prospective Bill & Ted 3.
Jessica Chobot, who happens to be one of the princesses brought out of the historical past of England, had a look at the latest news about this much awaited Bill & Ted sequel film. The update was provided by none other than Reeves himself during his promotional appearance on The Graham Norton Show. Reeves was quoted as saying that the script has been readied and the plot will take off from the premise of Bill and Ted not yet being able to deliver as per their potential..
”They’re supposed to write a song to save the world and they haven’t done that,” Reeves said.
“The pressure of having to save the world, their marriages are falling apart, their kids are kind of mad at them, and then someone comes from the future and tells them if they don’t write the song it’s just not the world, it’s the universe. So they have to save the universe because time is breaking apart”
It is unfortunate that Rufus, the mentor to Bill and Ted won’t be returning from the future for this film (the great actor George Catlin who played the role, passed away years back, but, we can still look forward to the return of William Sadler as the Grim Reaper).
