Ghost Rider Will Come Back in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Finale

Things are getting warmed up on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., since Ghost Rider is returning! The character was most recently seen on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4 winter finale. Well, now he is coming back for no less than one more episode. Ghost Rider, otherwise known as Robbie Reyes, will return for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4 finale shortly on ABC.

The comeback of Ghost Rider was first alluded to by the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Twitter account in a not very inconspicuous manner. There was an update which stated the “Forecast is predicting flamin’ hot weather #AgentsofSHIELD.”

It was then affirmed by ABC that the character will return for the season 4 finale, through a recently released summary for the episode, which is titled “World’s End.” Given is the official outline for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4 finale;

“Ghost Rider returns on the explosive season finale of ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,’ on ABC. Gabriel Luna Guest Stars as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider. “World’s End,” With the surprising emergence of Ghost Rider, Coulson and the team attempt to stop Aida from ending the world on the exciting season finale of ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'”

Before the introduction of Ghost Rider on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4, the character wasn’t in an awesome place on screen. The earlier live action take was essayed by Nicolas Cage in Ghost Rider and the highly criticized spin-off, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Thereafter, Marvel Studios reacquired the rights to the character a few years back and, for a long time, didn’t do anything. Nevertheless, they chose to bring him to the ABC series. What’s more, the character was a colossal hit. Therefore, it makes sense that he’d come back to grab more attention for the finale of season 4.

The more famous version of Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze, is not who’s been showing up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Rather, it is the Robbie Reyes adaptation, which is taken from a more current run in the comics.

Regardless of the fact that he is substantially less prominent in the realm of comics, viewers really liked him on the show. In fact, he figured out how to have a major impact.

While it’s not affirmed, amid a flashback in a prior Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode this season, it appeared like we got a snappy look at Johnny Blaze.

However, it has been clarified that he won’t go to the show. As a result, it will be Robbie Reyes when we watch the Ghost Rider.

Possibly this season finale can help set the base for a Ghost Rider spin-off series. Or, on the other hand, it could give him an opportunity to come back for the next season.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. commences this Tuesday with the episode titled “Farewell, Cruel World!”

Furthermore, Gabriel Luna will return as Ghost Rider on the 16th May Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season finale “World’s End.” This will be broadcast at 10 P.M. ET.
