R2-D2 and C-3PO were the initial characters to show up on screen in Star Wars. Therefore, it’s absolutely fitting that they make up a large portion of the franchise’s huge minutes. In A New Hope (1977), we got our first look at the droids, and from that point forward we’ve seen them in many adventures. With C-3PO in his full brilliant magnificence and R2-D2 resembling a dustbin with legs, their appearance alone should mean one of the main WTF minutes in the franchise. However, here are 8 More WTF Things R2-D2 And C-3PO Have Done.

8. R2-D2 OILS SOME DROIDS

By the time Revenge of the Sith (2005) released, there was nothing Artoo could do to astonish crowds. We’d seen him fire smoke, destroy creatures, and co-pilot with a 9-year-old. Yet, he was sparing his greatest trick for the last prequel. As it is, once on board General Grievous’ ship, while Anakin and Obi-Wan endeavor to protect Senator Palpatine, Artoo ends up in the hands of two B2 Super Battle Droids. Demonstrating that he’s more than fit for taking care of himself, Artoo covers them in his oil and after that puts those jets to utilize a fresh by setting them ablaze. Besides going up against a Buzz Droid only minutes before this scene, it’s the only time we’ve seen Artoo do noteworthy harm to a foe. Unless of course, you credit him for the devastation of the main Death Star.

7. C-3PO TURNS INTO A SEPARATIST DROID

The prequel is solid. Scarcely offered time to recuperate from Artoo’s flying ventures in Attack of the Clones, we see C-3PO’s head swap bodies with a droid. He blunders along the mechanical production line of the Geonosian plant and flounders like a kid. One questions why both robots are perfect for a head transplant. As it is, they don’t have similar neck attachments. However, it doesn’t end there. Threepio then gets his own one of a kind action scene. When Master Yoda makes his entry with a whole armed force of Clone officers and Jedi, the Threepio/droid entity is deployed into battle. He shouts”Die Jedi dogs!” since having an alternate body influences his brain for reasons unknown. In the interim, his droid partner is experiencing difficulty with stiff legs. That’s really unpleasant.
