As 2016 comes to an end, we anxiously anticipate what new devices the New Year will bring to us. Will any of these new items change our lives? Which new movies can we expect? Well, we have 10 such things that we can look forward to in the coming year.
1. Project Scorpio
Project Scorpio is Microsoft’s next computer game that is going to release in late 2017. Microsoft states on Project Scorpio’s site that it will be the most powerful console, highlighting 6 teraflops of graphical processing power, 4K gaming, and accessibility with Xbox One games and other accessories. The cost of Project Scorpio will apparently be about $500-$600, and it will include a virtual reality support. It appears that Microsoft, with both the Xbox One S and Project Scorpio, is following Apple’s footsteps of releasing gadgets more frequently. Will Project Scorpio have Microsoft outperform Sony as the ruler of home console deals, or does it risk releasing a lot of hardware and distancing purchasers like Sega did in the 1990s?
2. Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch is a tablet that you can play like the 3DS. However, you can also effortlessly connect it to your TV to play like a conventional console. It will also be very reasonable if Nintendo hits the supposed $250 value point. Furthermore, what truly matters is the software library the Switch will have. The greatest selling point will be The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If Nintendo lines this up with some other of its franchises like Mario and Pokemon, it could have a huge hit. Nintendo has a lot riding on the Switch. Its prosperity will probably showcase whether a revered yet stagnant organization like Nintendo has a place among Apple, Sony, Microsoft, and other tech monsters.
